Port Blair, Dec 20: On Sunday Heavy rain (7-11) cm likely to occur at isolated places over Nicobar islands. Under the influence of steep pressure gradient, strong Northeast to Easterly wind speed between 25 to 35 km per hour gusting to 45 km per hour and moderate to
rough seas likely to prevail along and off Andaman & Nicobar coast. Fishermen are advised
to be cautious while venturing into the sea. The general public is advised to take precautionary measures and in case of any emergency contact in the phone numbers of State Control Room, District Control Room and Emergency Operation Centres.
