Port Blair, Dec 15: In pursuant to the persisting demand of Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, the M.P, A&N Islands for enhancement of minimum wages of DRMs working in the Govt. department and in Private organizations, the Lt. Governor (Administrator), A & N Islands has pleased to order for enchantment of the Minimum Wages of DRMs working in Govt. Department and in Private Institution/establishment/shops /PSUs/ hotels/restaurants etc with effect from 01.01.2018. As per the recent order, the daily rated mazdoor/workers will get the wages in the following rates per working days:

Semi Skilled workers Rs:309/- Rs:494/-
Skilled workers Rs:322/- Rs:579/-
Clerical Rs:322/- Rs:579/-
Highly Skilled workers Rs:343/- Rs:637/-
