Sitanagar, Dec 10: A speeding car bearing AN01 K 5934 today overturned near a private house at Sitanagar today at 2 pm.
The car which belongs to the Asst Manager of SBI Diglipur was going towards Kalara junction from Diglipur. The Asst Manager alongwith his wife and 5 years old kid were also present inside the car. When the car reached near the turning of STS garage, it overturned near a house, because of uncontrollable speed. The Car also hit a Mango tree and caused massive damaged to the tree.
The residents of the house who were sleeping rushed outside the house hearing the sound and found the turtle car. As the doors of the car were not opening the house owner asked the driver to open the doors from inside the car and evacuated all three.
After first Aid the house owner arranged a vehicle to carry them upto CHC Diglipur. The lady and kid got escaped with minor bruises. Further details are awaited.
