
Port Blair, Dec 05: The well marked low pressure area in southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining south Andaman Sea is now lying in southeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood.
Associated upper air cyclonic circulation extends upto 5.8 km above mean sea level. It is very likely to become a depression over the same region in next 12 hours and further intensify into a deep depression during subsequent 48 hours.
It is very likely to move west north west wards towards north Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts during the next three days, Meteorological Department said in a bulletin here on Tuesday.
