Diglipur, 3 Nov: ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan ‘ was conducted on 03rd Nov by DHQ 9 Diglipur at Govt Senior Secondary School, Shivpur Gram Panchayat at Diglipur.
This programme was conducted by Officers and staff of DHQ 09 in association with ‘Tatrakshika’ a Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association. Various activities and events presented on this occasion. Poem, Skit and storytelling sessions were held. The Commanding Officer, Coast Guard (HQ) 09 Commandant Samir Chandra Patanaik gave a motivational speech to the students on this occasion. The members of CWWA and the school teachers narrated motivational stories to the students. Song and speech were presented by the students to highlight the importance of saving and educating the girl child.
