Baratang, Oct 31: In an act of humanity, an injured and pregnant deer was rescued today at Baratang by boat operators.
As per reports today at around 09:30 am near Limestone caves an injured deer was spotted on the mud of creek, by the OBM operators. The operators also noted that the deer if pregnant following which the forest department was informed.
The injured deer was soon brought to Nilambur Jetty after which the deer was given treatment by the Doctor and was later released in the forest again.
