Port Blair, Oct 27: Ever green Melodies” a grand musical evening was organized by Ankur Social and Cultural Society on 22nd Oct 2017 from 6pm onwards at Dr. B R Ambedkar auditorium. The renowned singers of the islands performed popular numbers of bollywood’s super hit movies. The programme started with ‘yeh sham mastani’ by Anant Ram followed by ‘tere mere hothon pe’ by Ashok and Arunima, ‘tere dar pe sanam’ by Raj, ‘suno na suna’ by Wazim, ‘mere dushman tu meri’ by Aboo and ‘yeh zami ga rahi hai’ by Shailender.
The chief guest the Chairman of ANCOFED Mr.. Kuldeep Rai Sharma on this occasion, while addressing the gathering said that the efforts of Ankur for organizing such a grand musical programme is commendable and the audience must have enjoyed the evening. The Ex Chairperson PBMC Smti. Zubaida Begum, the councilor ward no. 23 Mr. Sanjay Meshak, the veteran Music organizer Mr. J N Singh were also present. Mr. Saji Samuel was the compere of the programme and the show concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Anant Ram General secretary of Ankur.
