Port Blair, October 11: An FIR has been registered against the Former Director General of Police, Mr Rajesh Mallick and his, the then Personal Secretary, over extortion charges.
A case of extortion and PAC (Protection Against Corruption) has been registered at the Anti-Corruption Unit, Port Blair on 9th October 2017.
Andaman Sheekha learnt that a prominent Businessman had registered a complaint in this regard long back but as name of a former DGP is involved, Anti Corruption unit took long time to register the case. Meanwhile, almost all top officers of A & N Police are tight lipped in this case and are not sharing any information in this case further.
