Port Blair, Oct 09: A Deer was sighted at Corbyn’s Cove Junction this morning, which generated a lot of curiosity among public.
Dozens of people crossing the Junction stopped for the glimpses and photos of the Deer. Meanwhile scared of public, the Deer fell into a drain and sustained major injuries. In photographs it can be seen that the Deer was bleeding profusely.
The matter was informed to the Forest Department but before forest department team could reach the spot, the Deer escaped from the area.
