Port Blair, Oct 03: A two days (26th September to 27th September) Interstate Regional Athletic Meet was organized by Vidya Bharti Odisha and held at Madhusudhan Nagar, Dist- Cuttack, Odisha. At inaugural function Mr. Badri Narayan Patraji (State Education Minister, Odisha) called as a Chief Guest and Shri Akash Dash (MIA) as a guest of honour of the event and in this event five state (Odisha, Dakshan Bang. Uttar Bang Sikkim and Andaman & Niccbar Islands) participated. “It is our pleasure to inform all the parents of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Secondary School (E.M), Prothrapur, Port Blair and the people of Andaman & Nicobar Islands that the lone
institution of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir participated in interstate Regional Athletic Meet and among this 06 students of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir secondary school (E.M.), won 18 medals in various events and secured fist position in marching tromp. These students were escorted by the P.E.T Teachers namely Mr. T Duryodhan and Miss. Priti Anand. Mr. Chandra Sarthi Behera (state sports and youth minister, Odisha) and Mr. Prita R brought laurels to the institution and made parents proud who sponsored their wards to take part in such venture. Mr. Anjan Ghadee (MLA) was the guest of honour for the closing ceremony.
