Port Blair, Sep 26: On the tip off about plantation of cannabis (illicit ganja) plants at V.K. Pur, Little Andaman, a Police team headed by Insp. Vishal Ram, SHO PS Hutbay and consisting of PSI Panchu, HCs R.L.Mondal, K.M.Mustafa, PCs K.A.Siddique, S.P.Pradeep, B. Bharat, HGs Sanju, Govardhan Lohar, and Madhabi Rana conducted a raid at V.K. Pur (22 KM) in presence of Tehsilder, Little Andaman and recovered 05 ganja plants weighing 3.370 kg and having the height from 03 feet to 10 feet respectively. In this connection accused Sanjoy Bala has been arrested.
The South Andaman Police requests the public to assist police in passing information about anti-social elements on 100 (PCR) or respective Police Station on 03192-232400 (PS Aberdeen), 03192-250525 (PS Pahargaon), and 03192-232232 (PS Chatham), 03192-284208 (PS Hutbay).
