Port Blair, Sept. 22: The A&N Administration conducted recruitment examination for vacant positions of Multitasking Staff, Lower Grade Clerk and Stenographer with the assistance of Staff Selection Commission, New Delhi recently. Subsequently, for recruitment to various posts in Group B (NG) & C in A&N Islands, the A&N Administration took up the matter with Staff Selection Commission, New Delhi. The matter has been taken up with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for the approval of the proposed MoU. The Ministry had sought some clarification, which has been furnished to the Ministry by the A&N Administration.
Upon approval of Ministry of Home Affairs, GoI for executing the MoU, the recruitment to all posts under direct recruitment in Group B (Non-Gazetted) & C pertaining to various Departments under A&N Administration shall be done by Staff Selection Commission, New Delhi by conducting written examination.
