Port Blair, September 17: A case of kidnapping of a minor girl has been filed by Chatham Police Station. As per detail in this case a 17 year old girl, a student of a local college has been kidnapped on 14 September 2017.
As per reports, the girl started for Hospital from her hostel situated at Haddo on September 14th at 09:00am but she didn’t come back to Hostel since then.
As per sources, the College warden then informed the matter to the girl’s parent following which they said that they received a call from a person namely Vikash, who said that their daughter is with him.
As per reports, the girl left for Kolkata on 14th September with the guy with the alleged kidnapper but as the girl is minor and missing for more than 24 hours, a case of Kidnapping has been registered in this case.
It is learnt that the alleged kidnapper is her lover and he is a resident of Billyground and the father of the alleged kidnapper is now settled in Orissa. A case under section 363 IPC has been registered in the Chatham Police Station and further investigation in this regard is on.
