Port Blair, Aug 18: BJP has launched Nava Bharat Manthan campaign from 16 August, 2017 throughout India. In this connection, A&N BJP collaborates with PBMC and A&N Forest Dept. organized the programmee on Swachchta Abhiyan and Tree Plantation near Marine Park at 9.30 am on 18.08.2017. Minister of State – Social Justice and Empowerment Shri. Krishan Pal Gurjar was the Chief Guest.Minister, Shri. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament, Shri. B. Eswar Rao, Chairman PBMC and Shri. Ajoy Biragi, State General Secretary BJP, planted trees and participated on Swachchta Abhiyan near Marine Park. This programmee was attended by BJP leaders, Councillors, TDP Leaders, AIADMK Leaders, Party Workers and general public.
The Minister held the meeting with OBC Community at Garacharama Community Hall which was attended by Local born officials, OBC social workers and BJP Leaders. In this meeting, various issues related to OBC community were discussed. He visited Cellular jail and paid rich tributes to freedom fighter Veer Savarkar Ji and also attended Blood Donation Camp at BJP Bhavan at Middle Point, Port Blair.
