Kishorinagar, Aug 2: Three members of a family were badly beaten up by another family at Kishorinagar, Diglipur today.
It is learnt that 14 years old son of Baburam Mondal and Lakhi Mondal were taking their buffalo in front of Gopal Talukdar’s house, when the child was allegedly beaten up by the said Gopal Talukdar, following some arguments.
The buffalo reportedly crossed fields of Gopal Talukdar last Sunday.
It is learnt that when parents of the child came for rescue they were also beaten by Gopal Talukdar and 3 other persons.
It is learnt that the whole family is admitted at PHC Kishorinagar.
Baburam Mondal got injuries on his head and his wife Lakhi Mondal was reportedly beaten by wooden plank. As per detail, the staff of Outpost of PS Kalighat recorded their statements and further investigations are on.
