Mr. Vishal Jolly, State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, A&N Islands & Member of HMAC have raised issues like Replacing Zilla Parishad with Pradesh Parishad / Legislative Council; Trans-shipment Port at Campbell Bay, Great Nicobar; Separate Shipping Corporation for A&N Islands; Ship Repairing Yard/Dockyard and Ship Wrecking Yard; Online Portal for Yachts/Cruise Liners; Visa on Arrival Facility for Tourists; Opening more Islands for Tourism; Development of Tourism Circuits; Renewal of Palm Oil Cultivation at Hut Bay; Construction of Bridges; Review of Shekhar Singh Commission Report; Tsunami-affected Farmers; Domicile Issue – Promulgation of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Public Employment (Requirement as to Residence) Regulation; Inner Line Permit to Check Population Influx; Undersea Fibre Optic Cable; De-notification of Deemed Forests; Regularisation of Excess Land; Regularisation of old encroachments; Entitlements under Food Security Act; Regularizing the DRMs in All Departments of A&N Administration and Settlement of employees salary dues to Suryachakra Power Corporation Ltd., The Union Minister directed the MHA officers and UT Administration to expedite the pending issues and also said UT Administration to take initiative in implementation of GOI’s flagship programmes.Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray – MP, Mr. Harinarayan Arora, Mr. Ajoy Bairagi, Mr. B.
