Port Blair, Jul 19: The Chairman, Port Blair Municipal Council, Shri. B. Eswar Rao, and Smt. Protima Banerjee, Chairperson, Sub – Committee on Education and Social Justice visited Nagar Palika Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ranchi Tekri which was accompanied by Secretary, PBMC Shri. YashpalGarg and other officers of Municipal Councilalongwith the Ward Councilor Shri. C. H. Babu and other members of the Sub – Committee on 18th July 2017.Port Blair, Jul 19: The Chairman, Port Blair Municipal Council, Shri. B. Eswar Rao, and Smt. Protima Banerjee, Chairperson, Sub – Committee on Education and Social Justice visited Nagar Palika Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ranchi Tekri which was accompanied by Secretary, PBMC Shri. YashpalGarg and other officers of Municipal Councilalongwith the Ward Councilor Shri. C. H. Babu and other members of the Sub – Committee on 18th July 2017. The Chairperson took a note on the ongoing works in the school and the requirements arose due to up-gradation of the school. The School has been upgraded to Secondary level and affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Few vacancies exists in std. IX. The Chairperson, PBMC appeals to interested parents to enroll their wards in std. IXth class at Ranchi tekri. Directions were issued to all concerned officers to complete the work within 15 days.
