Port Blair, July 16: Consequent upon the direction of BJP high command from Delhi, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray, the MP has conducted street corner meeting and announcement on GST (Goods sale tax)being implemented throughout the nation from 01st July.2017 to bring the total awareness among the Islanders.
In pursuance to the above, a schedule has been prepared to conduct awareness programme in all the districts of A&N Island. According to which, awareness programme has been conducted from 12.07.2017 in various places of the South Andaman districts
by displaying the valuable conversation on GST in between Shri. Jagdish Mukhi , Hon’Ble LG A&N Island and Shri Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament.
The remaining parts of the Islands will be covered with in this month. In addition to the above, the hand bills on GST in three regional languages i.e Hindi, Tamil and Bangla were also distributed to the gather.
