Havelock, July 05: The Havelock Police Unit seized around 95 grams of Ganja and Rice Beer of 15 litres from the possession of two accused.
As per reports, on a tip off the Station House Officer, Havelock Police Station, Sub-Inspector K Illangovan alongwith PC Rakesh Narayan, PC Manikandan, LPC Molina, PC Pankaj Rao and PC Vallapa Rao under the overall supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police MA Nausad reached the house of lady Manmothi Arindha, resident of Govind Nagar 3 and seized around 95 grams of Ganja which she used to sell in packets.
Similarly, yesterday on a credible information Sub-Inspector Adi Murthy of PS Havelock along with a team consisting of PC Manikandan, PC Ranjit Biswas on excise duty conducted a raid at Govind Nagar 3 near the Fish Market and arrested a man namely Judan Arindha having possession of 1 number plastic Jerican containing 15 litres of illicit Rice Beer. The raid was conducted under the overall supervision of SHO Hacelock PS, Sub-Inspector K Illangovan.
