Port Blair, June 22: The Non-Gazetted Government Officers’ Association, Andaman and Nicobar Islands condoles the sad demise of Shri Mohammed Raza, Former President of the Association. He retired as Head Master(Primary) from the Department of Education in the year 2007.
After his retirement he had played a prominent role in organizing pensioners of the Islands and was the President of Andaman and Nicobar Pensioners Association.
Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ with heartfelt gratitude, recalls his contributions for organizing employees and workers and leading them in many struggles. He was 70 and is survived by his wife, a daughter and 3 sons. His funeral procession will start at 10.00 a.m. tomorrow (23.06.2017) from his residence at Prothrapur.
