Port Blair, June 14: After the outstanding results of the Class X and improved performance in Class XII the Education Department is now going to take an another step in improving the quality of life of Students of these Islands.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha recently, the Deputy Director, Education Department, Mr Subhankar Ghosh said that the Department is very encouraged with the results and the two years continuous efforts of the Teachers towards their students.
He said that the aim of the Education Department is not only to academically make the students a topper but also to make them a good human being, sportsmen and improve the quality of their life.
Mr Subhankar said that for this the Department will start Career Counselling workshops and classes for students.
The Education Department will arrange sessions of the students with the Famous Personalities and Achievers so that they get inspiration to achieve more in their future.
“As we have already planned to honour the toppers in public, it will also encourage other students to do good,” said Mr Subhankar.
