Port Blair, July 06: Heavy rain today dampened the enthusiasm of Andaman’s local BJP unit as the visit of National President BJP, Mr. Amit Shah was cancelled because of excessive rain fall this morning.
Finally, it was declared at around 10 am that the visit was cancelled. The local unit had planned a grand welcome of the Party President at Port Blair airport and had also planned a bike rally from Airport to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Statue at Marina park.
Sources inside BJP told Andaman Sheekha that there are chances that the visit will be rescheduled in October 2017.
