Port Blair, May 26: The Havelock Police Unit seized around 3.5 kg of Tobacco leaf yesterday at Havelock Jetty from the possession of Chandan Tarak Rai.
As per reports, on a tip off the SHO Havelock Police Unit, Sub-Inspector K Elango and his team under the leadership of DySP Havelock and District SP searched the person at Havelock Jetty and seized 3.5 kg of Tobacco leaf from his possession.
Since last month the Havelock Police Unit has been seen very active, as many culprits doing illegal trade of Tobacco, were caught.
