Port Blair, Mar 30: ISAT FORUM (Indian Students And Teachers Forum) in collaboration with SHIKSHA- A step towards Education (NGO) organized a felicitation function to the toppers of higher education UG level 2015-2016(conventional courses) in Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Model Senior Secondary School auditorium, Port Blair on 30-03-2017. Dr.Ratan Mazumder, associate professor JNRM chaired the function as chief guest and Dr.R.P. Palaniswamy associate professor JNRM was the guest of honour, while Smt.R. Dimple president SHIKSHA (NGO) was the special guest.
The felicitation function started with lightning of holy traditional lamp and national anthem. Mr. M.Selvam, Founder President of ISAT FORUM presented the welcome address. Gave away the awards of an amount of Rs. 2000, a certificate and a medal was the main event of the function. Chief Guest Dr.Ratan Mazumder announced the toppers of higher education UG level 2015-2016 (conventional courses) in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. On behalf of Kumari Nishu Kumari Singh (Science stream JNRM) and Kumar Bimal Tirkey (Computer Science stream JNRM), their parents received the awards from the Chief Guest. Parents of Riya Malik(Computer Science stream JNRM) received the awards from the guest of honour Dr.R.P. Palaniswamy and Kumari. Sneha Ilayadarshini (Physical Education & Sports stream JNRM) and Kumari Laxmi (Arts stream JNRM) received the awards from the special guest Smt. R. Dimple (President SHIKSHA-A step towards Education).
The chief guest and the guest of honour delivered an inspiring lecture. They spoke about the quality of education and the importance of strong knowledge. They appreciated the activities of ISAT FORUM and SHIKSHA- A step towards Education. A total number of two hundred and fifty students including parents witnessed the function. Finally vote of thanks was proposed by Shri. Pradeep Chakraborty, General Secretary ISAT FORUM and the function ended with national anthem.
