Port Blair, March 28: The Chatham Police Unit today seized a small amount of Ganja from a Passenger of the Ship MV Harshavardhana that reached Port Blair this morning at around 05:00am.
As per reports, the Chatham Police Unit under the overall supervision of SHO Abdul Rehman conducted a checking of the passengers this morning and seized around 160grams of Ganja from a passenger namely Naresh Ghosal.
As per sources, the Chatham Police Unit has registered a case of NDPS Act against the accused in this regard. Further details are awaited.
