Port Blair, June 15: A delegation of Swaraj Dal Party President P.M Aboobackar , working president V. Hemza , Vice President Smti Sara Dias, General Secretary Arvind Rai Sharma and Harris Anselm Secretaries Harjeet Singh, T Arumugam , Abudul Rehman, RJ Pandey, Alama Suchita Kujoor, Mahila Swaraj Dal President Nabisa Begam, Youth President Y Srinivas Rao met Chief Secretary Andaman and Nicobar Administration and submitted a memorandum demanding various demands like permanent solution of water shortage and power crisis.
During the meeting the delegation stressed on improvement of the Health Department and Education Department. The Party also demanded to withdraw the proposal of 50 berth marina at Viper Island and Swaraj Dal Party declared their full support to the Subhas Chander Press Club holding dharna in front of Secretariat gate.
The Party also demanded for developing of more play grounds in schools and villages along with Indore stadiums and multipurpose halls.
The delegation expressed concern over mushrooming of Bars in City. The party demanded to close down all bars, which have violated the norms/ terms and conditions. The delegation also raised many other crucial issues with the Chief Secretary.
