Port Blair, Mar 21: Oral Pre-Cancerous lesions checkup for women on ‘International Women’s Day’ was conducted on last month at PHC Campbell Bay by the Directorate of Health Services in association with the State Social Welfare Board, A&N Islands.
181 women patients were screened and awareness programme was also organized by the Medical Officer i/c, PHC Campbell Bay and Dental Surgeon attached to PHC Campbell Bay along with paramedical staffs. During the camp, no pre-cancerous lesions were detected.
