Port Blair, Mar 15: A Swachhta Pakhwada was organized by the A&N UT Commission for Protection of Child Rights at Rama Krishna Mission today. The Swachhta Pakhwada aimed at generating awareness about swachhta Pakhwada with an outreach to maximum children followed by a demonstration on hand washing using WHO technique. Health Educators of Directorate of Health Services were also present on the occasion.
Smt. Rubina Siddiqui, Member, UTCPCR welcomed the gathering. Swamiji of Rama Krishna Mission highlighted the importance of cleanliness. Smt. Kiran Tigga, Officiating Chairperson, UTCPCR highlighted the importance of cleanliness among individual and surroundings and take over the pledge of Swachhta along with the gathering.
