Port Blair, Feb 27: Under Reproductive & Child Health Programme a Mini RCH Camp was Organized by Directorate of Health Services in association with UT Health Mission and Gram Panchayat Shoal Bay at Govt. Sec. School Building ,Shoal Bay-12,on 25th February ,For the benefit of mothers and child of residents of shoal bay and nearby areas. A team consists of Dr. T.L. Ratna kumari, HOD ,Department of peadiatrics, AIIMS (G.B. Pant Hospital), Dr. Kusum Kunwar, Gynaecologist ,Designated District Hospital ,Graracharmma and Dr. Navin Govind ,Deputy Director & Joint Secretary ,RHC-II along with other Para-medical and supporting staff has rendered their services in the camp.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Smt.Mary Puspa ,Pradhan ,Gram Panchayat ,Shoal Bay-12 in presence of ,PRIS and residents of shoal bay areas.
A total 85 Patients were examined and provided appropriate specialized treatments . The estimation Of Haemoglobin and blood sugar was done for needy patients in the camp
The pradhan and PRI member of Shoal Bay-12 area have extended their valuable co-operation to make the camp a grand success.
