Port Blair, Feb 23: Air Force Station Port Blair organized Road Safety Week from 08 to 16 Feb 17 under the aegis of Andaman Nicobar Command. The aim of the campaign was to emphasise and accentuate personnel on road safety. The week long activities included lectures and demonstration by the Andaman Nicobar Police for personnel, lectures on first aid, Quiz and poster competition. A lecture was also organised for the students of ANCOL with the help of Andaman Nicobar Police. The campaign concluded with a Bike Rally flagged off by GpCapt Manu Midha VM Station Commander Air Force Station Port Blair. During the rally pamphlets on road safety were distributed amongst the local population and awareness on the subject was spread with active interaction with locals at various locations.
