Port Blair, Feb 14: In a simple function today at Panchayat Office of Bambooflat-I Gram Panchayat, Shri Udit Prakash Rai, IAS, Dy. Commissioner, South Andaman distributed an amount of Rs. 3,35,000/- as the compensation for five Vardha cyclone effected families of Bambooflat-I village. During the function, the Pradhan Gram Panchayat, Bambooflat-I Mr. Someshwar Rao, Zilla Parishad Member Mr. Sundram, Patwari Mr. Deniel Reception, PRIs and general public were also present.
