Port Blair, Jan 04: In order to promote cashless transactions, on 16.12.2016 at 1800 hours, a meeting with shopkeepers of Neil Island was held by PS Neil Island to promote cashless transactions at Neil Island. Shri Sanaj Kumar, Manager of Syndicate Bank Neil island branch also participated in the meeting. A total of 21 shopkeepers attended the meeting. Shri Sanaj Kumar emphasized the use of cashless transactions using swipe machines, internet banking mobile apps and also briefed the shopkeepers about the mode of use of the above said machine/mobile apps. The shopkeepers were requested to make most of cashless transactions in the future.
