Rangat, Dec 20: A student suffered severe injuries in a road accident occurred near primary school road, Sabri Junction this morning at around 08:30am when an auto, he was in, collided with a cow.
As per reports, the incident occurred on a branch road of ATR, when an Auto Rickshaw after picking up a student from a school was going toward the student’s house.
Sources said that when Auto Rickshaw reached near a cow, which was tied up with a Rope along with the road, it suddenly came in front of the Auto Rickshaw due to which the Auto Rickshaw tilted, injuring the school student.
It is learnt that later nearly 20-30 Auto Rickshaw drivers reached to the Rangat Police Station and demanded action against people, who ties upcattle along the roads.
The Rangat Police Unit handled the situation very gently and asked the Auto Rickshaw Drivers to take up the issue with the concerned Panchayats.
