Rangat, Dec 20: An FIR was registered today against a lady Panchayat Samity Member of Sabri for allegedly attacking and injuring another lady, said to be her neighbour.
As per reports, the neighbour lady of the Panchayat Samity Member is said to be an alcoholic and she even used to drink with the husband of the Lady Panchayat Samity Member.
It is learnt that when the lady Panchayat Samity Member asked the neighbour not to meet her husband, the neighbour lady reportedly came with her aunt to attack the Lady Panchayat Samity Member.
But the Lady Panchayat Samity Member was strong enough to beat her neighbour back with a stick, injuring the fingers and head of her neighbour.
The Rangat Police has registered a FIR in this case. Further details are awaited.
