Port Blair, June 07: In order to build up the capacity in operational areas of Hotels, Resorts, Bars & Restaurants in Port Blair, Havelock Island, Neil Island, Diglipur, Mayabunder Rangat, Baratang Island, the youth of these islands will have the opportunity to undergo a free of cost training in Food production & Restaurant Services at National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Institute at Hyderabad. The institute is providing 20 seats each in the above operational areas in the hospitality sector in the training programs expected to commence at Hyderabad from 29th June 2012 and conclude in the second week of August 2012.
The selected trainee will be required to incur their travel expenses from Andaman to Hyderabad and return and food expenses approximately Rs.4000 for the entire training period. NITHM will provide free hostel facility, training kit and also training of 45-60 days free of cost.
Trainees who completed the training successfully will be issued a certificate and such candidates are also entitled to receive a stipend of Rs.1500/- for F&B and Rs.2000/- for FP.
Applications are invited from local youth ( both boys & girls ) within the age 18-28 years, with minimum 8th standard examination passed are hereby advised to submit the applications direct to Nithm or the local representative on or before the 12th June 2012.
