Port Blair, Dec 15: Bollywood singer and composer, Nakash Aziz who is known for some of his recent hit songs will be performing this year at Port Blair during Island Tourism Festival.
Nakash Aziz who also assisted the legendary composer A. R. Rahman on films like Highway, Raanjhanaa, Rockstar, Delhi 6 and I in Hindi became popular for his songs in Bollywoods like Selfie Lele Re (Bajrangi Bhaijaan) , Afgan Jalebi (Phantom) , Saree Ke fall (R… Rajkumar) , Gandi baat (R… Rajkumar) , Pungi Bajake (Agent Vinod), Tukur Tukur (Dilwalee) , Jabra Fan (FAN) , Pyaar ki maa (Housefull 3), – Husfull 3, Dhating Nach (Phata Poster Nikhla Hero), Second Hand Jawani (Cocktail) etc.
Since last several years local media had objected about selection of out of the market artists for Island Tourism Festival but this year the Tourism Department reportedly gave due importance of present day top Bollywood singer and finalized name of Nakash Aziz for Bollywood show.
People participated in the bidding have also lauded the Tourism Department for transparently selecting Bollywood artist for Andaman’s mega show.
It has been learnt that Nakash Aziz will perform with seven piece live band with a two female co-singer and one male Co-Singer.
As per details the event management firm will also bring six reputed dancers from Bollywood Fame Jhalak Dikhlaja and one Female anchor from Bollywood industry, Shilpa Masiah.
The Mega Show will also have famous standup comedian Raja Sagoo, who is winner of “Comedy Circus”. Raja Sagoo can mimic voices of 51 actors. He also sings in the voice of various singers for about 40 minutes.
Apart from this one Sound Engineer from Bollywood will also be a part of the mega show.
The excitement does not end here. It is learnt that apart from Nakash Aziz, playback singer Mahalakshmi Iyer, best known for her Hindi and Tamil songs will also perform during ITF this year in a separate show. Details about Mahalakshmi Iyer’s show are awaited.
