Port Blair, Nov 25: In the intervening night of 13th & 14th November, 2016 a report of burglary at State Bank of India, Garacharma was reported at PS Pahargaon wherein miscreants had tried to break open the main gate of bank premises by breaking two godrej locks to gain access but they failed to break the concealed shutter locks and thus could not succeed in gaining access inside the bank. Upon which a case vide crime no. 195/16 dated 14/11/16 was registered at PS Pahargaon and a police team comprising SI Rangaswamy, PSI Surjit Bhattacharjee, Constables Bhasker Rao, R.S. Rakesh, Emmamuddin Khan swung into action and after making rigorous a juvenile (in conflict with law) was apprehended on 19/11/16 who confessed to his act and disclosed the tools used in breaking of locks.
This case of attempt for burglary was solved because of the strenuous efforts made by the police team headed by SI Sahil Shamsuddin, SHO Pahargaon under overall supervision of Shri. Ajay Rai, Dy.SP (SA).
