Port Blair, Nov 15: The Coast Guard Wives Welfare Association(CGWWA) organized a picnic for the children of Coast Guard fraternity to celebrate the occasion of Children’s Day on 14 Nov 16. The picnic was organized at the Naryal Bagicha, Brichganj. A total of 120 children enthusiastically participated in the event along with the CGWWA committee members. The picnic was aimed to have a hilarious milieu for the children as well as to build the sense of friendliness and responsibilities among each one. Besides various outdoor games, group activities were also conducted for the children to imbibe moral values to become responsible citizens of the country. The event concluded with the distribution of prizes.
