Car Nicobar, Nov 03: A seaman namely Dilip Kumar Gaur S/o Ramu, 30 years resident of Uttar Pradesh a seaman by profession died onboard MV Shakti 2, presently berthed at Mus Jetty of Car Nicobar Islands.
As per sources, the seaman fell down near the Engine room of the ship for the reasons unknown. He was immediately rushed to the Hospital at Car Nicobar, where he was declared brought dead.
The dead body of the seaman will be brought to GB Pant Hospital for Postmortem tomorrow, it is learnt.
A case of unnatural death has been registered in the Car Nicobar Police Station.
