Port Blair, June 01: The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands have urged the general public to furnish their valuable suggestions pertaining to the important issues towards the development of the Union Territory to him by 5, June 2012, in order to submit a detailed background Note for inclusion in the agenda items for discussion in the forthcoming meeting of Island Development Authority.
“The A & N Administration, Secretariat, now intimated vide their Letter No. 3-4(104)2012-13/IDA dt. 31.5.2012 that the 14th meeting of the Island Development Authority (IDA) under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of India is to be held shortly to discuss important issues pertaining to A & N Islands. The Agenda for the IDA is proposed to be decided in consultation with Various Stakeholders, and therefore the U.T. MP is required to highlight the important issues towards the development of the U.T.” a release from MP office said here today.
