Port Blair, Oct 26: A private bus was attacked by an angry bike rider today at Goalghar Traffic Signal when the bus due to negligence of the driver dashed his bike at the Goalghar Traffic Signal. The angry bike rider pelted stones on the bus and broke the windshield.
According to reports, the bus coming from the behind dashed the bike as soon as the traffic signal turned green.
As per reports, when the Bus dashed the bike from behind the rider of the bike lost the control and fell on the spot, an Auto Rickshaw also got minor damages in the Accident. Sources said that luckily both the rider and the pillion rider survived the accident narrowly and did not come under the wheels of the bus.
Fuming bike rider reportedly pelted stones on the bus. After the matter was reported to the Aberdeen Police Station, a team of Aberdeen police as well as Traffic Police immediately rushed the spot and anyhow managed to control the situation.
It is learnt that the Aberdeen Police has registered a case against the Driver of the Bus as well as the bike rider who broke windshield of the Bus. Police is investigating into this matter.
