Diglipur, Oct 24: Once again cyber criminals have targeted two of the account holders of State Bank Of India, Diglipur Branch and have fraudulently withdrawn Rs.54,000/-, from their accounts.
The amount was withdrawn on 22nd Oct from the SBI Diglipur branch of Mousumi Baral and Mamindra Balal, a couple. They had received a call from 9223966666 and the caller posing as SBI officer, tricked the ATM PIN from them and withdrawn cash from both the accounts.
The matter was immediately intimated to the local SBI branch. The lady is well educated and is a Government servant. According to her she never heard of any alert regarding ATM frauds. The SBI Diglipur bank is investigating the matter.
