Port Blair, Oct 21: Taking notice on the rise of instances of sexual abuses of children in North & Middle Andaman District and recognizing the need of the hours to make aware and educate the general public on this social evil. The Women & Children Special Unit of N&M Andaman District, as a part of awareness programme against the child sexual abuse prepared pamphlets and distributed them.
Pamphlets highlighting the importance of risk, signs, responsibility of parents and Do’s & Don’ts to be distributed among general public in English, Hindi & Bengali languages by the Women & Children Special Unit of N&M Andaman District.
General Public is requested to intimate such activities if noticed to the nearest Police Station or Out Post or on Telephone Nos. 100, 232100, 274646, 273344 or 274239.
