Port Blair, Oct 21: Power supply will remain suspended in few areas on 22.10.2016 from 0730 hours to 1400 hours for replacement of damaged electric conductor (wires) at Junglighat. Part of Junglighat area will be affected by the power interruption.
In addition to above, the department will carry out maintenance work of Panther-I & Panther-II (main link line between IPP Bambooflat and Port Blair) on 22.10.2016 (Saturday). Due to this, if required, power supply will remain suspended on as and when required basis for about 45 minutes in Port Blair and South Andaman area on 22.10.2016 (Saturday) between 0730 hours to 1400 hours. The works will be carried out subject to weather condition.
