Port Blair, Oct 21: Shri B.Eswar Rao, Chairperson, PBMC, alongwith a team comprising of Shri Yashpal Garg, Secretary, PBMC, Councillors and Officers of the Council inspected Marina park, Marina-de-café and Azad Hind Sarovar Pond, at Aberdeen.
Chairperson directed the Executive Engineer of the Council to rectify the faulty Millennium clock and make operationalize the water fall at the Azad Hind Sarovar immediately.
Chairperson further directed to examine the feasibility of installing musical fountain at the pond. Taking a strong note on the decrepit condition of toilet blocks situated at Marina Park, chairperson directed to renovate the toilet blocks immediately, as it is a hot spot for tourist.
Subsequently necessary instructions were issued to Sanitary Officer/Agriculture officer of the Council to keep the park and its adjoining area spic and span.
