Port Blair, Oct 19: As per the call of Confederation of Central Govt. Employees and Workers, New Delhi, the Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, A & N Islands is organising a Mass Demonstration in front of Secretariat on 20th October, 2016 from 4.15 to 5.15 pm, being the first phase of protest programme against non-implementation of the assurance given by Group of Ministers to NJCA on 30th June,2016.
The agitational programme is being organised for settlement of justified demands of the Central Government Employees and Pensioners like immediate decision on allowances; increase in minimum wages and fitment factor; regularisation of all Causal/DRM employees, withdraw the “Very Good” as bench mark for promotion/MACP and also for annual increment etc.
Similar programmes will be organised in out-stations also.
