Port Blair, Oct 12: The Chairperson port Blair Municipal Council Shri.B.Eswar Rao today expressed his deep grief and condolence on the sudden demise of Shri. Albert Dung Dung, Lineman attached to Electrical section of the Council.
He met with an accident while on duty. The Chairperson along with Councillors and officials of the Council met the family members of the deceased and assured all possible help form their end.
As an interim measure, the Chairperson announced a compensation of Rs.2 Lakh to the bereaved family and a suitable employment of temporary nature to the son of the deceased.
