Port Blair, Sept 28: Shri B. Eswar Rao, Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council has thanked the Lt Governor for prohibiting all the forms of Chewing Tobacco products in A&N Islands from 2nd October,2016. This will not only have positive effect on the health of the citizens, but will also lead to clean and beautiful city. Since the Port Blair Municipal Council is making all out efforts in maintaining the city spick and span, the Chairperson has decided that banners and hoardings will be displayed by the PBMC in different parts of the city to create awareness about ill-affect of the chewing tobacco.
Shri B.Eswar Rao, Chairperson has appealed to all the citizen of Port Blair to comply with the ban on chewing Tobacco and also to join hands with PBMC in maintaining the city clean.
