Port Blair, Sept. 28: The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District has paid a visit to the Tsunami Shelter at Nayasahar under Guptapara, Gram Panchayat on 27.09.2016 at 07.30 a.m. Smti. Minati Biswas, Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, the Pradhan, Wandoor Gram Panchayat and Panchayat Samiti Member Wandoor were also present during the visit.
There is a long pending demand of the residents of the tsunami shelter at Nayasahar such as: Construction of approach road, Community Hall, Children Park, Anganwadi etc., for the welfare/benefit of the residents. During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner has assured that all the issues raised by the residents shall be solved early.
