Neil Island, Sept 25: A candle march was organized by the general public and Panchayati Raj Members of Neil Island on 23rd of this month.
The General Public of Neil Island and the PRI members also burnt the effigy of the Prime Minister, Pakistan, Mr Nawaz Sharif to express their anger.
“We believe in world peace and brotherhood. We condemn such heinous acts which are against the spirit of humanity. May the souls of the martyrs rest in peace,” Mr Ram Krishna Biswas, Pradhan, Neil Island said.
